Subj:   Re: Tibco Adapter

From:   Judge, James A

1) is it necessary to have TIBCO adapter for teradata to extract the data through TIBCO EAI? No - it can be done through T-Pump, yet it is not the preferred method. T-Pump only provides a one-way connectivity. If you require bi-directional feeds (to and from the warehouse) you will want to use the TIBCO Adapter. The Adapter is CLI-Based for performance reasons.

2) Who is providing the TIBCO adapter TIBCO or TIBCO through Adapter.? The Adapter has been built and is maintained by TIBCO. It is sold through TIBCO and is on their standard product list.

3) It is possible to use the message bus and JMS queues. TIBCO has Enterprise Messaging Services V4 (EMS4.0) based on JMS.
