Unless you use checkpoints. I have here the FastExport Reference Release 07.06.01 (June 2002) in which the checkpoints are described on
page 2-48.
In addition to ML, checkpoints should now be readily available in the latest releases of FastLoad and FastExport. On earlier releases people
had to do additional programming to use them.
