I'm the Original Poster.

I don't know how BEFORE journal would help. Can I have two JOURNAL tables defined on my tables and if so, can I specify that BEFORE goes to one table and AFTER goes to the other?

We do apply our journals to another copy of our tables on another machine. Since we apply them every hour, they run fairly quickly - 1 or 2 minutes.

A solution we have been looking at is to compare today's export with yesterday's export and only send the differences to the Oracle app. But that requires 2 copies of the data and I a lot of tapes.
