Subj:   Do we lose available DiskSpace if we change the number of AMPs?

Our Teradata System is coexisting and is made up of different generations of servers. Right now we have the same number of AMPs on all the Nodes.

We now plan to increase AMPs on a few faster nodes and decrease AMPs on a few slower nodes. But it seems that we will lose significant available DISK SPACE if we attempt to do this. So we will have more DISK SPACE available on some nodes and less on a few.

Is there a formula to know how much Disk Space will be lost of we have different number of AMPs on different NODES.

Cheers
