So long as the DSN points to the correct Teradata server (and contains your userid and password) it should work with any version of Teradata.
(And many versions of other vendor databases... Provided the SQL is valid for that version.)
It is not recommended (for security reasons) to include the password in your DSN definition however. If the DSN does NOT include your password
you will need to add a backslash and then your password after the DSN name.
