Subj:   Re: Does Informatica +really+ force MultiLoad worktables into the target database?

From:   HARALAA

During the last Informatica World in San Diego I had a long discussion with the Informatica development team in charge of the Teradata related pieces and they agreed that exposing MLoad features like separate databases for errors, logs and data is a "must have". Their original plan was to add this functionality only to the new loader (Warehouse Builder) and this feature is currently available in PowerCenter v7.0. Of course with Warehouse Builder being "a little buggy" at this point I got the promise that they will add the same functionality for MLoad in PowerCenter v7.1...

Bottom line: start talking to your friendly Infa contacts about escalating the priority of this feature and there is a real chance that we'll get it.
