That is the catch, the optimistic case, where one could consider all the 1000 rows to exist in just 10 blocks (where each block contains 100 rows). But the 1000 rows in reality could(/are) spread across the 100 datablocks because ultimately we reach for the base subtable datablocks which are based on the primary index.
