I used a simple join index to make my query run faster.Although times have improved I can't see the join index usage in the explain plan !

All things remain constant except creating the join index on the table....Explain plans pre and post creation of index are identical except for the elapsed time which has reduced.

Now I really don't know if the performance improvement is because of the join index or not....Can anyone help?
