Do a SHOW TABLE for the new table.

I'm guessing that you used an ODBC client (e.g. Queryman / SQL Assistant) to do the CREATE TABLE, and your DateTimeFormat options are set to "I"s not "A"s - in which case the driver modifies the DDL to make it V2R2 compatible. (And you can't insert a TIME into a FLOAT ...)
