Dear All,

We need to decode the values stored in hexadecimal format sent to us in a flat file and load the data using mload.

Is there any typecasting available in Teradata which will enable us to do as required? If function is readily available what should be the data type declared in the mload layout?

Kindly let us know if such a thing is possible at teradata level so as to avoid any pre-proceesing of data file for conversion.
