  You need to run it on each node. If it's not found on the node, check to see whether the GSCTOOLS package has been installed. It's officially "unsupported" but very useful.  



I have installed the GSCTOOLS package and surely the top utility is great for visualizing the load on the machine. My sincere gratitude.

After a manual started file system check, the machine has been rebooted after

$ umount 1 2


When the machine restarted, the load of the machine when idle is absolutely normal

$ sar -u 10

13:20:08    %usr    %sys    %wio   %idle
13:20:18       0       1       0      99

I am suspicious of some resource leakage probably due to machine configuration. This has happened before and now I will trace it closely to find the culprit processes.
