Sounds short sighted to me....would it make sense to look beyond the immediate cost of the license and focus on TCO of the overall
solution? If you used mysql you may get away w/o any license cost at all? Does it solve your problem? If so go ahead if not maybe paying
the license cost is the better approach over the quibble
