How long have you been working with SQL Server to get proficient? If your frustrations are in SQL development then, yes there are
advantages to each of the RDBMS's SQL code sets. I would prefer the English version of a business question to SQL if it were a perfect
world.
How big is the SQL Server database image and the Teradata database image you are working with? If you haven't seen any clear advantages
to answering business questions then, yes you are still early in the process.
