Although you can have up to 128 vprocs per node I think there is a limit of 10 PEs per gateway and one gateway per node ... so therefore 10 PEs per node.

The real limit is not the number of PEs per node (you can probably define more than 10) but the gateway's ability to handle only 1200 sessions. Since each PE can handle 120 sessions I dont think it would help you to define more than 10 PEs per node.
