Subj:   Re: Oracle Export to pipes

From:   Kimana Wanaleiu

There used to be a handy little shell script floating around called "ora2td" that took an Oracle table definition, created a Teradata version, a sqlplus script, and a fastload script, and then fired up a fastload fed via named pipes out of sqlplus. Note that some datatypes couldn't be mapped. I think someone eventually updated it to switch between fastload and bteq depending on the rowcount from Oracle.

Has anyone seen/used ora2td lately?
