Hullo Jackson:

V2R5.1 Database supports encryption in two levels

1) Logon string encryption: username, passwd from client to server are sent in encrypted format during logon.

2) Data Encryption: This is optional and can be requested by client for a sql request or for entire session. You need to check respective connectivity manual for specific options. For CLIv2, specifying dbc_area.data_encryption to 'Y' will make the request and response to that request be sent/received in encrypted format.

!Regards!
