The MODE and FORMAT you have used is correct. How ever, check if all the fields you have selected are converted to fixed length CHAR. If you have VARCHAR fields, try to convert them in to Fixed length characters. If you are trying to export VARCHAR fields, you will get control character at the beginning of the string signifying the length of the string. Hope this helps........

If this doesn't solve the problem...send me the SELECT statement used in the FastEXport script...and the table definition.
