Subj:   Re: Extracting DDL of a whole database

From:   Hough, David A

The pricing policy for TSET has been near the top of my 'pet peeve' list ever since the GSC started asking me for TSET information as part of incident submittal. I've managed to get the GSC to give me the alternate instructions, but it's not always been easy. (Insert sound of my teeth grinding here).

Prior to TTU6.2, TSET was an separate product that had to be licensed. At TTU6.2 the entire licensing structure changed, and TSET was grouped with a number of other system tools as part of an "analyst bundle". Having an old license for any one tool gave you the right to all the tools in the pack. That bundle may in fact be free at this point, but I can't tell.

Because it took us 6+ months to sort out the licensing changes from TTU6.1 to TTU6.2, we haven't yet deployed TTU6.2 or TTU7.0 (more teeth grinding).
