Subj:   Re: Running FASTLOAD on UNIX

From:   Tony Howe

Ok, did the "set record unformatted" now we are getting the following error:

**** 09:26:44 Number of recs/msg: 4943
**** 09:26:44 Starting to send to RDBMS with record 1
**** 09:26:44 Incorrect number of bytes returned from a File Read!
              Expected: 8, Received: 2

Is there a special way these UNIX I/P files need to be created. I'm not a UNIX person so not sure how it was created originally.

When I/P file was FTP to our mainframe (the world I understand), I had no problem with the FASTLOAD.

Thanks,
