Wrong approach. If the logtable isn't being dropped, your prior script didn't end normally. Fix the problem, don't just work around it and risk being unable to restart when you really need to. Could it be that you just forgot to .LOGOFF at the end?

Besides, as soon as you .LOGON, the support environment will access the logtable. So by the time you are in the MLOAD script it's too late. If you insist on the workaround, you'll have to do it before invoking MLOAD (e.g. separate BTEQ).
