In UNIX, the split command will allow you to split the file based on bytes or LINES. I no longer have access to UNIX to see if it works on 2GB files.

There is also a windows 32-bit version, which I know works on GB files. it is distributed freely (but you have to get ALL the text utilities to get the one). Let me know if you want this.
