Hi,

I know about at least one customer that was using arcmain on the mainframe to backup about 6Tb weekly. They have been always successful in doing so.

Recently they switched to locally attached tape drives, because the speed of the mainframe connections was no longer meeting their needs in respect to the backup window that was available.
