Greetings!
We are using OLE Load to migrate data from ORACLE. This utility encrypts the source login/passwords along other info in a file called
'.amj'. Questions have been raised regarding the security about these files, since username/password are hard coded in the script.
The other issue regarding this '.amj' file is, each time when the source password expires or changes the '.amj' needs to be recreated or
build using the new password.
I would like to get inputs from OLE users/ NCR regarding this tool. I also want to know if the same technique is being used for the
Warehouse builder that is suppose to replace this tool.
I would appreciate any suggestion or comment on this regards. Thanks a lot.
