Subj:   Re: Perl Scipts and BTEQ

From:   Sam bass

Hi,

Does anyone use BTEQ to interface with Teradata and a Perl Script? If so, how would you do this?

Well, to keep with the spirit of Perl, TMTOWTDI :-) One quick and simple (relative) way to do this, would be use Perl to run your BTEQ (via system() or backticks) and then fiddle with the output.

Also, I have never used any version of the DBD::Teradata module above the 'free' one, 1.12. But, I am very impressed by the quality and speed of the code and if I had the chance I would pay Dean for his latest and greatest version of the module.
