Subj:   Re: Do Global Temporary Tables require Perm space?

From:   Fred W Pluebell

You do need a minimal amount of Perm Space in the target database (for table headers) when you issue the CREATE. Once that "template" has been defined, users need only Temporary space to materialize an instance of the Global Temporary table (by referencing the name in a DML statement).
