Do not have immediate access to Teradata and/or manuals but recall that this error message means you have a source with too few/many variables compared to the target which has too many/few variables. e.g. 6 columns from source but target expects 5 or 7. Sometimes caused by somebody adding a column to a table but not updating the regular update script.
