Subj:   Re: SQL Server datetime fields to Teradata?

From:   Mark Landry

For Sybase (from which SQL Server was derived), we use the 'sqsh' utility to dump datetime datatypes as:

\set datetime="%Y-%m-%d %H:%M:%S.%u"

which then load directly into Teradata as timestamp(3).

You may be able to do something similar.
