For what it's worth: One of the goals of this List was to have a place where problems/bugs can be discussed. Where some people enjoy and
are challenged by obfuscated code, I prefer problems/bugs. So even though a problem is in the hands of the GSC, that doesn't mean that our
discussion has to end.
When a problem/bug ends-up in the hands of the GSC, there's the assumption that something is going to be fixed at some point in the
future. In many cases, after reporting the problem, what's really wanted (odds are that you've got somebody who's calling every five
minutes to see if it's fixed yet) is to know whether a work-around can be pursued and the form that it might take.
To that end, don't be shy to speak-up (thanks Dieter).
