Amer,

1. Currently there is no replication service for the Teradata RDBMS. Most customer sites do a dual feed where they split the input so both systems receive the same input at the same time. This assumes that this a real time constant load situation. If data is loaded from tapes or mainframe, just run the same load jobs against both systems.

2. Yes you can write stored procedures for Teradata. Check the SQL manuals for the syntax.

3. Yes in order to run Teradata across multiple nodes you have to have the BYNET hardware and software. Your NCR Customer Sales Support Team should be able to help you with this. If you don't have a contact at NCR go to www.teradata.com and select the Contact item on the top menu.
