It's the simple answers that stink:

Condition/Symptom:
0004 .export outfile /home/dnovak/test.dat FORMAT VARTEXT;
**** 10:01:23 UTY1600 Internal error in 'EXPORTSTM', unexpected keyword value = '97'

Probable Cause:
Documentation is incorrect - DR 58133 has been opened to remove references to vartext format from FastExport documentation.

Configuration Data:

Solution:
FastExport does not support vartext format output. Do not try to export in vartext format with FastExport.
