Subj:   Re: Teradata Manager and Delta AMP CPU

From:   Geoffrey Rommel

Also, can someone explain what 'delta AMP CPU' means? I can't find a mention of it anywhere it the manuals that I've perused.

Perhaps the phrase 'delta of CPU in AMPs' would be a little clearer. What is being measured is the total CPU used by all AMPs (i.e. not including Unix system calls) on behalf of the user's session. The delta is the amount of CPU racked up since the last, uh, something -- I think it's the last time you hit 'Refresh', but it may also be affected by the last time PMON queried the buffers.
