In the reference below in the table MTDP/MOSI are elements that reside on a client system(i.e. not a mainframe) e.g. Windows and are the equivalent to the TDP on mainframe systems. They are installed automatically when you install the client utilities. The Client utilities (i.e. Fastload, BTEQ, etc.) user WinCLI and not ODBC. Hope this helps.

P.S. Teradata has no capital D in the name.
