Subj:   Time Troubles

Can anyone provide insight into the following problem:

We created a table in a prior version of Teradata's Queryman (4.2) containing a TIME(0) field. This is the show table for that table:

CREATE SET TABLE SSA.AuditTable ,NO FALLBACK ,
     NO BEFORE JOURNAL,
     NO AFTER JOURNAL

DatabaseName VARCHAR(30) CHARACTER SET LATIN NOT CASESPECIFIC NOT NULL,
TableName VARCHAR(30) CHARACTER SET LATIN NOT CASESPECIFIC NOT NULL,
JobName VARCHAR(30) CHARACTER SET LATIN NOT CASESPECIFIC NOT NULL,
StartDate DATE FORMAT 'yyyy-mm-dd' NOT NULL,
      StartTime TIME(0) NOT NULL,
      EndDate DATE FORMAT 'yyyy-mm-dd',
      EndTime TIME(0),
      Inserts INTEGER,
      Updates INTEGER,
      Deletes INTEGER,
      UVs INTEGER,
      ETs INTEGER,
      ReturnCode BYTEINT,
UserName VARCHAR(30) CHARACTER SET LATIN NOT CASESPECIFIC)
UNIQUE PRIMARY INDEX PKAuditTable ( DatabaseName ,TableName ,
JobName ,StartDate ,StartTime );

In Teradata's new Queryman (5.2) we issued the EXACT same create as above. The show table below is the RESULT of that same command:

CREATE SET TABLE SSA.AuditTable ,NO FALLBACK ,
     NO BEFORE JOURNAL,
     NO AFTER JOURNAL

DatabaseName VARCHAR(30) CHARACTER SET LATIN NOT CASESPECIFIC NOT NULL,
TableName VARCHAR(30) CHARACTER SET LATIN NOT CASESPECIFIC NOT NULL,
JobName VARCHAR(30) CHARACTER SET LATIN NOT CASESPECIFIC NOT NULL,
StartDate DATE FORMAT 'yyyy-mm-dd' NOT NULL,
StartTime INTEGER FORMAT '99:99:99' NOT NULL,
      EndDate DATE FORMAT 'yyyy-mm-dd',
      EndTime INTEGER FORMAT '99:99:99',
      Inserts INTEGER,
      Updates INTEGER,
      Deletes INTEGER,
      UVs INTEGER,
      ETs INTEGER,
      ReturnCode BYTEINT,
UserName VARCHAR(30) CHARACTER SET LATIN NOT CASESPECIFIC)
UNIQUE PRIMARY INDEX PKAuditTable ( DatabaseName ,TableName ,
JobName ,StartDate ,StartTime );

Note that the StartTime and EndTime have switched from TIME(0) to INTEGER FORMAT '99:99:99'.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so and you were able to solve it, how do we correct it?

Any help is very much appreciated!
