A couple of comments:

Queryman would also be an equivalent for sql*plus in that it provides an interactive query tool. For queries it is easier to use than sql*plus in that it has easily accessible query history. FastExport will produce a flat file based on the results of a query. This file can then be used in other applications. Fastload will use a flat file as input (or an Oracle database if using OLE Load). I am not sure this is the case with oracle exp and imp.
