Ruth,

I believe there are some Teradata Administrative Utilities that can break out the table sizes by primary table versus sub-tables. I believe the Ferret utility might give you the xact information you need. I think if you use the Scope parameter to specify the table you want to examine, and then execute the SHOWSPACE parameter, it might give you the exact information you are looking for. However, I believe this is typically a system administrator type function so if you don't have that kind of access to the system (typically root access to the Teradata Nodes) you might have to have someone run this for you.
