Subj:   Re: Access Logging Question

From:   Thomas F. Stanek

Can you show the exact statement you used to "Turn On" accesslogging? We have been fairly selective about what we log. Specifically, we log all DROP, CREATE, DELETE, UPDATE, and INSERT against production databases for all users. The BEGIN LOGGING statement gives you a lot of flexibility to identify what you want logged. I think if you specify "ALL on ALL" type of statement, you will log all the dictionary accesses (or at least a lot more than you really want).

Hope this helps.
