Does anyone have any words of wisdom re running fastload under Windows NT. I have a plain old ASCII file that I am trying to load. If I include 2 bytes at the end of the record DEFINE for cr/lf I get a message 'Incorrect number of bytes returned by a file read! Expected: 8, Received: 2'. I am not sure what this means, but the first field defined is char(8). If I do not include the 2 bytes, it loads the first record, then subsequent records go to the error1 table because it is picking up the cr/lf as the first to bytes of the next record. It seems to get every 8th record loaded.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Maybe an example?

Thanks very much,
