Also, Teradata Manager is programmed to send real-time e-mail and beeper-mail to the EDW manager and SysAdmin if the Day Time Work Day response time performance goal is not met for the past hour (as well as other performance goals). For NT WS, Perl scripts and WSendmail (try an Internet search for these) are the principal tools.
