Hi

I am currently responsible for the end user support of our Teradata Data Warehouse. We operate a MVS environment with NT clients. Our users are requesting access to Fastload for NT.

We are aware that there is a finite number of load utilities (be they MVS and/or NT) that can execute simultaneously. We are nervous about providing Fastload for NT to our users as they may have these utilities running when our nightly batch runs, resulting in these jobs failing.

Does anyone out there have any experience in users running these utilities and with contention with their batch? Are there any ways in which we can protect ourselves from this happening?
