From:   Michael Larkins

Hi Gloria:

As the commerical goes, "This is a tuffy." Only because there is no 2679 in my DBC.Errormsg table.

However, if I were you, I would first verify that the data types are exactly the same for the column "amt." If they are the same, verify all the columns prior to it and make sure that they are the same. When I say, make sure they are the same, I am talking about the .LAYOUT definition. Also make sure that the two CREATE TABLE statements on the different systems are the same, use SHOW TABLE.

Here is another suggestion to make sure they are the same. In your .LAYOUT use a .TABLE instead of several .FIELD statements. This will automatically generate the definition. Another option is to use a self defining INSERT. It is written simply as INSERT INTO .*;

First, I would verify the CREATE TABLES and then examine the .LAYOUT.

Hope this helps get you started and good luck,

Mike
