  Assuming the tables are the only ones in the database, entering 'Delete Database XXX' should get rid of them.(You will need drop database privilege for this).  


Unfortunately, they're not the only ones in the database by a long shot.


  If the tables aren't the only objects in the database, you would need to copy any that you want to keep to another location first, before doing the delete.  


Yikes - that is *not* going to be a small job for this database. Thanks, Mark, but I think that's going to be a last resort solution. I would definitely try to restore the tables again from tape before I considered this.
