We use MSI here at Kmart. We have a database (DSSWORK) where all temp tables are kept. We have the 'drop table' option turned off in
MSI. At 3 a.m., we run a batch job that drops all the R* and T* tables in DSSWORK. It takes about 30 minutes to drop 1,200 tables. We
currently have about 675 users running 18,000 reports/mo. As the number of users and reports grow and we allow access overseas, we will
have to re-evaluate and may run the drop table job in a different window, or more often.
In the level of MSI that we are on(DSS Server 5.5), we don't have the option to 'delete all' from the temp tables. We are running
V2R2.1.2, so we don't have the volatile temp table option either.
